Exploring Doctoral Research Opportunities at VCU: Expert Session by Dr. Shivprakash Ramaswamy at KSV
The Department of International Relations, SVKM, and KSV hosted Dr Shivprakash Ramaswamy from Virginia Commonwealth University on 2nd April 2025, Wednesday, to address the M Pharm semester- 2 students on the scopes and opportunities for Doctoral Research at VCU. The session was arranged from 2:00 pm to 3: 00 PM in Brahmani Krupa Hall at the K B Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research premises in sector 23, Gandhinagar. The highly comprehensive yet appropriately tailored session extended detailed information regarding Research in US universities in general and at VCU in particular. The session was followed by interaction between the students and the guest to gain clearer insights.
Around 40 students and 7 faculty members attended the session and benefited from clear and accurate information along with greater insight for appropriate decision-making.
The session thus remained highly fruitful, enabling students to foresee their future careers in the right perspective.
