We brightened the cloudy morning of 24th August 2025, Sunday, by the little faces brimming with curiosity and enthusiasm of stepping into a language class full of fun and learning with Ms. Neeta Rawat, Headmistress, Bhavkunj School, SVKM Kadi who interacted with the SVKM Schools students of grade 7th, 8th and 9th at our Boys’ hostel at Sector 23, Gandhinagar for a wonderful Storytelling session as an orientation of the Language Learning sessions to be crafted as well as conducted by our Department. Ms. Rawat, in her highly engaging style backed by vast experience in the field of teaching, weaved the story into language components with the help of lively icebreakers and classroom games, which generated high level of motivation among the students inspiring them to get involved into the imitation, practice and creation of language in classroom, that was less of a formal classroom and more of an area to open up for a new venture of Experiential Learning. The session concluded on a note of the collective assurance of efforts from the enthusiastic learners led by their equally active Senior students from constituent colleges of KSV, who joined the Department of Communication Skills and iSEP Cell, KSV in collaboration with the Boys’ Hostel of SVKM under the guidance of Dean Communication Skills,Dr. Jinal Joshi, accompanied by great motivation from the Coordinator and Counselor, SVKM Hostels (kadi and Gandhinagar) Shri Kumarbhai Pandya for this noble and mutually enriching initiative.
