A major highlight of the visit was an insightful session conducted by Prof. Andrew J. Lewis on Adolescent Depression. The session, attended by faculty and mentors, offered practical approaches for supporting young individuals and emphasized the importance of addressing mental health with understanding, preparedness, and empathy.

The Department extends its appreciation to all attendees and contributors, including Dr. Jinal Joshi , Director, Department of International Relations, for facilitating meaningful dialogue and supporting the development of impactful international partnerships.

Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya (KSV) has proudly established an academic collaboration with the University of Kent, United Kingdom, to offer international short-term learning opportunities through Summer Schools and Short Courses. This partnership, initiated in 2022, enables students from KSV to engage in one- to two-week programmes designed and taught by Kent’s Global Learning faculty. The courses combine academic sessions, educational visits, and socio-cultural experiences, providing holistic global exposure. With successful programmes already completed and future ones in planning, this collaboration marks a significant milestone in KSV’s commitment to expanding global learning pathways and nurturing internationally competent graduates.

To crown this moment of pride, Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya was honored with the prestigious Green Campus Award 2025, a testament to our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and global impact.

Key Highlights:

Dr. Jinal Joshi, Director – International Relations, proudly represented KSV as a speaker and panelist in the session “Advancing SDG Integration in Teaching, Learning & Assessment.” She shared her insights alongside global leaders from the SDG Academy, Global Schools Program, SDSN (New York), and Governance For Good (London).

Mr. Parth Patel, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering, presented his impactful research on “Hemp in Building: A Natural Step Toward Sustainable Construction.”

Ms. Krutika Patel (IT, UG) showcased her vision on “Ethical AI and Gamified Pedagogy for Sustainable Classrooms.”

Ms. Nancy Patel (IT, UG) presented her innovative project “EcoAudit AI: Sustainability Diagnostics & Resource Optimization in Smart Educational Institutions.”

KSV and HRCI Forge Strategic Partnership to Empower the Next Generation of HR Leaders

Under the visionary leadership of Shri Vallabhbhai M. Patel, President of Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya (KSV), a new milestone has been achieved near Washington, DC. Dr. Jinal Joshi , on behalf of KSV, formally signed a distinguished agreement with HRCI (Human Resource Certification Institute) to co-create a groundbreaking HR certification program, a course that will become an integral part of management education at KSV.

At the heart of this collaboration is Mr. Jorge (J.D.) Nomdedeu, Managing Director of Global Operations at HRCI, whose vision and leadership in advancing HR practices globally have been instrumental in shaping this partnership. The initiative has been strongly supported by Dr. Bhavin Pandya, Dean of the Management Colleges at KSV, and Dr. Keyur Shah, Director at KSV, whose guidance continues to drive academic excellence and global collaborations for the university. The signing was facilitated by Openeyes, with Mr. Wade Delk ensuring due diligence on the agreements, and the consistent guidance of Mr. Trushant Mehta, Founder of Openeyes, whose efforts have been pivotal in bringing global opportunities to KSV. This achievement has been realized under the visionary leadership of Shri Vallabhbhai M. Patel, President of KSV, with guidance from Dr. Keyur Shah, Dr. Shivani Trivedi, Dr. Richa Mehta, and Dr. Jinal Joshi, in collaboration with Dr. Mahesh P. Joshi, Dean of the Delaplaine School of Business, and Dr. Debbie Ricker, President of Hood College. We are delighted to share that our Director of International Relations, Prof. Dr. Jinal Joshi , along with Prof. Parth Patel and bright IT engineering students Ms. Krutika Patel and Ms. Nancy Patel, were invited to the Embassy of India, Washington D.C.

This visit was made possible through the kind invitation of Mr. Jigar Raval, First Secretary (Income-Tax Overseas Unit), and was truly an enriching experience. His vision for connecting young minds with global opportunities and his warm hospitality made this visit truly special. We are deeply grateful for his continuous efforts in building bridges between India and the world.

During the interaction, both Mr. Jigar Raval and Mr. Jag Mohan, Minister (Community & Personnel), fondly acknowledged the remarkable contributions of Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal’s Hon. The Department of International Relations organized an informative and interactive session with the students at K.B. Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, focusing on international opportunities and career pathways.

Students of Pharm D and B.Pharm (Semester 5) had an engaging session with Mr. Priyank Shah, Director of Acumen OET, focusing on global career pathways. The discussion highlighted:

The role of OET in licensing processes

Licensing and registration exams across countries

Options of direct licensing after B.Pharm vs. pursuing a student visa with parallel preparation

Nearly 100 students participated, interacted actively with queries that reflected their keen interest in navigating the right steps toward international career opportunities.
